Job summary

Clever Bee Academy in Akron, Ohio is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support children in our Inclusion Program. You will implement individualized behavior and learning plans in partnership with Lead Teachers and BCBAs.

This hands-on role emphasizes consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement in an inclusive classroom. Excellent teamwork with families and therapists, plus ongoing ABA training, will drive meaningful progress for neurodivergent children.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with children, preferably in early childhood or special education settings.
• Familiarity with ABA; training provided for new hires.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and consistent with inclusive approaches.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Implement 1:1 or small group behavioral and instructional strategies based on individualized plans.
• Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Observe, document, and report behavioral data and progress.
• Provide emotional and behavioral support to engage children.
• Assist with classroom management and safe, structured learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to align strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and ABA training.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
