Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by THECB.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education or willingness to join ACP to get certified in first year.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.

Responsibilities

• Write accurate, aligned, data-driven IEPs for students on your caseload.
• Develop rigorous lessons in your content area for 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor progress with frequent feedback.
• Track student growth and create growth plans with coaches as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents via phone, video conference, email, or district-approved website.
• Collaborate with co-planner on daily lesson plans and adjust resources as needed.
