Job summary

Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Program Specialist, Inclusive Excellence to oversee programming for the Center for Inclusion and Diversity (CID) and the Cura Collective (CC) across University locations.

You will collaborate with students, faculty, staff and alumni to create events and learning opportunities that foster belonging, support underrepresented communities, and strengthen campus engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop a programming calendar for CID and CC across University locations.
• Provide programming and advising support to student organizations funded by SBAC.
• Lead and oversee student-centered events (retreats, heritage month activities, and others).
• Create and maintain marketing, outreach, and social media presence for CID; support OIE website updates.
• Process invoices, monitor budgets, and report expenses.
• Collaborate with partners across University locations and represent the Office of Inclusive Excellence at events.
• Assist with outreach and resource referrals for underrepresented students to increase persistence.
• Support events and activities for diverse student learning and belonging, including orientation contributions.
• Serve on committees addressing inclusive excellence, including Day of Dialogue.
• Support hiring, training, and supervision of CID/CC student workers.
