Job summary

St. Joseph’s Preparatory School seeks an Associate Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion/Human Resources to advance DEI and support HR operations. The role involves leading equity programs, coordinating events, and enhancing staff experience across the campus community.

The position emphasizes Jesuit values, belonging, and care, with oversight of communications, data analysis, onboarding, and HR reporting. This is a 12-month, exempt, on-site role in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred for advanced DEI/HR work.
• SHRM CP Certification is preferred for the role.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience delivering DEI and HR programs.
• Experience in needs assessments and programming design for DEI/HR.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and communicate programs advancing equity, inclusion, and companionship for students, faculty, staff, and families.
• Support DEI initiatives, workshops, celebrations, ambassador programs, and retreats.
• Maintain DEI calendar and coordinate event logistics and advisory programming.
• Collect and analyze data on participation and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate onboarding processes and maintain employee records in HR systems.
• Assist with HR operations including compliance, background checks, benefits support, and confidential admin tasks.
• Collaborate with DEI to align HR policies with Jesuit values of respect, care, and inclusion.
