Job summary

Child & Family is seeking a Therapeutic Integration Specialist to support students with developmental and behavioral needs within the classroom. You will partner with the Kids Connect Program to provide essential services that promote safety, wellbeing, and resilience in learning environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, direct child services, and adherence to health and safety standards while engaging families and maintaining accurate records in the EHR system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a childcare setting.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Must meet background checks and medical clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate successful implementation of students with development and behavioral needs into the classroom.
  • Partner with assigned clients from Kids Connect Program to provide support, ensure safety and wellbeing.
  • Help clients thrive in classroom, navigate needs, social awareness and independence.
  • Meet with the Clinical Supervisor and maintain accurate client records in the EHR system.
  • Provide direct services to children to enable inclusion and build skills.
  • Implement client behavior plans as established by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Ensure goal-oriented assessments and treatment/service plans within established timeframes.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and families; report concerns to the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols; address hazards; be responsive to children’s needs.
