Job summary

Child & Family in Middletown, RI seeks a Therapeutic Integration Specialist to support students with development and behavioral needs in the classroom. You will partner with the Kids Connect program to provide necessary support, ensure safety and wellbeing, and help clients thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities include meeting with the Clinical Supervisor, delivering direct services to children, implementing behavior plans, and coordinating with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, or a high school diploma with agency-relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of NAEYC or Early Childhood quality standards is a plus.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the Clinical Supervisor and maintain accurate client records using the Electronic Health Record system.
• Provide direct services to children to enable inclusion and build skills.
• Implement client behavior plans as established by the Clinical Supervisor.
• Ensure children receive goal-oriented assessments and treatment/service plans within established time frames.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and families, provide support and resources and report concerns to the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety protocols and address hazards to safeguard children.
