Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking an Inclusion Aide to support youth with disabilities in Safe 'N Sound YMCA Before & After School programs in Naperville and surrounding areas. You will provide 1:1 support, promote participation, and model inclusive behaviors.

Work with staff and families to ensure inclusive experiences, while maintaining a safe, respectful environment and helping participants build life skills and independence. Weekday shifts available with benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and coursework/experience in childcare, education, or recreation.
• Experience working with children; disability experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Passion for inclusion and the YMCA mission.
• Reasonable accommodations available for persons with disabilities.
