Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an experienced Incinerator/Residual Operator to support the management of residuals and APC systems. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and operate equipment, perform start-up/shutdown activities, and maintain safety and compliance across the incineration process.

The role requires handling roll-off operations, ash removal, sampling, and coordination with shift teams. Training, certifications, and strict adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through reading and writing.
• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.
• Must have already been trained to and maintain skills of MHII.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks and manage roll-off box movement.
• Assist with start-up/shutdown of residual collection systems.
• Perform sampling of residual containers and conduct compliance checks.
• Oversee APC train operations and troubleshoot equipment.
• Coordinate with area operators to resolve discrepancies and ensure safety.
