Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA seeks an experienced operator to support residuals management and APC systems at the incineration facility. The role covers roll-off operations, box handling, startup/shutdown duties, sampling, and safety/compliance tasks.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 2+ years in hazardous waste or chemical settings, forklift experience, and MHII or related training. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in hazardous waste or chemical industry with forklift/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• > 6 months in current position.
• No unsatisfactory attendance issues in past 12 months.
• No disciplinary action within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for shift roll-off truck operation and roll-off box movement.
• Maintain boxes properly for residual operation and report any problem to supervisor.
• Pickup of loaded residual boxes; weigh box and place in assigned staging area.
• Place empty residual boxes in service as required.
• Assist with unit start-up/shutdown activities of residual collection systems.
• Maintain ash-handling operations, including related systems.
• Perform cleanout of conveyor system as necessary to maintain proper operation.
• Perform sampling of residual containers.
• Perform compliance checks in assigned areas and remedial action on findings.
