Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is hiring an Incident Response Coordinator to oversee end-to-end IT incident management in a highly regulated federal environment. You will coordinate across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and vendors, deliver timely leadership updates, manage escalations, and ensure audit-ready documentation throughout the incident lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years coordinating multi-party incident activities.
• Strong ITIL-aligned incident management understanding.
• Proficient with IT service management platforms and monitoring tools.
• Able to manage multiple incidents and communicate clearly in a SOC-like environment.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Organize response efforts across end-to-end lifecycle of incidents, high-impact events, and multiple concurrent incidents.
• Ensure accurate categorization, CI linkage, documentation, and knowledge updates.
• Use monitoring/ITSM data to route incidents; engage infra/app/cyber/vendor dependencies.
• Provide structured internal messaging (leadership updates, stakeholder briefings, and status pages).
• Lead PIRs and update runbooks/workflows and ITSM configurations.
• Elevate deteriorating/unresolved incidents per SLA/escalation guidelines.
• Collect/store key decisions, impact summaries, timelines for audits.
• Serve as a single point of contact to drive collaboration across teams.
• Track incidents and verify remediation steps in ITSM platforms.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to identify systemic issues.
