Job summary

Astreya is seeking an Incident Response Analyst to detect, analyze, and respond to infrastructure incidents across enterprise environments. This role acts as the first responder in a 24x7 operations center and coordinates with appropriate teams based on alert type.

The candidate will investigate alerts, follow EOPs and MOPs, and assist in maintaining documentation while working with vendors under tight SLAs to ensure rapid incident containment and resolution.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in IT Ops or data center environments.
• Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science with relevant SOC/IR exposure.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Incident Response Analyst plays a vital role in detecting, analyzing, and responding to Infrastructure incidents across the enterprise environments. As a key part of the team, the analyst is responsible to act as the first responder in a 24 X 7 environment. Investigates alerts, and engages the appropriate team depending on the type of the alert.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a command center, service center, or similar 24x7 operations center environment.
• Critical Power: Experience responding to failures in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), emergency generators, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Cooling & HVAC: Proven track record handling cooling loops, chillers, and Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units during thermal emergencies.
• Monitoring Tools: Hands‑on experience triaging real-time alerts from Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Following and executing Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) and Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
• Vendor Management: Experience coordinating with external delivery vendors, under tight SLAs.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Experience in managing Data center enterprise incidents.(facility, noc, soc)
• Associate’s degree in IT, or equivalent experience. 2-5 years in IT Ops.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or Computer Science. 2-5 years SOC/IR experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Hands‑on experience with Incident io, Grafana, Ring, JIRA, Teleport, Confluence.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision‑making skills under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical documentation.
