Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first line of defense by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security, infrastructure, and facility alerts.
  • Monitor and respond to facility‑related incidents, including:
  • High humidity
  • High temperature
  • Power failures or fluctuations (facility‑wide)
  • Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts, including:
  • Intrusion detection and access control alarms
  • Server performance degradation or system failures
  • Network connectivity disruptions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all site‑specific incidents, assuming leadership during active events as needed.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless handoffs, consistent communication, and timely post‑incident follow‑ups.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed incident reports outlining findings, root causes, and resolution steps.
  • Support security and engineering initiatives by contributing to continuous improvement of monitoring, surveillance, and access control systems.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a command center, service desk, or 24x7 operations environment.
  • Strong ability to triage and prioritize multiple incidents based on risk and urgency.
  • High proficiency with IT tools and applications; accurate and efficient keyboarding skills (25+ WPM).
  • Foundational knowledge of security and IT infrastructure, including IP networks, servers, and LAN/WAN environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
  • Working knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR) and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while meeting time‑sensitive and operational requirements.
  • Experience using security and monitoring platforms such as Lenel, Avigilon, SOAR, SAOS, and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Hirsch, S2, and other ACS, VMS, IDS, and CCTV platforms.
  • Relevant certifications or hands‑on expertise with the above systems are a strong plus.
