Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in New York, NY is seeking an Incident Manager to own end-to-end coordination of production incidents for critical payments services. You will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and the FRFS Incident Management Team to drive prompt resolution and clear executive communications.

The role requires strong problem-solving, on-call readiness including weekends, ITIL certification preferred, and experience in financial-services payment operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in incident management, ideally 24/7/365.
• Experience in financial-services payment operations (cash, wire, real-time).
• On-call rotation including weekends.
• ITIL V3 or V4 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of critical incident response processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional response teams during large-scale incidents.
• Meet with operations, product, and development staff to define problems and investigate root causes.
• Verify results of changes and enhancements.
• Prepare and present executive reports on critical incident management.
• Lead post-incident reviews and root-cause analyses.
