Job summary

Surefox North America Inc in Florida is seeking an experienced Incident Commander to act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients, providing emergency response in line with client policies and all regulations.

You will supervise on-site security operations, manage access and badge processes, and deliver timely incident reports while ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors in a fast-paced setting in Miami.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass extensive background check and drug screening.
• Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
• Must have a Florida Security Guard Card Class D.
• CPR and First Aid/AED certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to emergencies and making timely decisions.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Must pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT) before start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and facilitate collaboration across departments.
• Act as Incident Commander for emergencies and responses.
• Provide discreet lobby security during business operations.
• Handle data entry, employee assistance, directions, and badge requests for temps, vendors, and contractors.
• Track program performance and compliance within guidelines.
• Perform routine security patrols and monitor access.
• Respond to emergencies on-site and contact authorities as needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits and control access.
• Prepare incident reports and logs on incidents and suspicious activities.
• Create a safe environment for visitors and staff in a professional manner.
• Attend project meetings to assess security implications of changes.
• Monitor CCTV and review footage as requested.
• Operate access control and badging systems.
• Work independently and lift up to 25 lbs as required.
