Job summary

LIVIT Staffing Solutions in Florida is seeking an Inbound Lead to oversee inbound logistics in our distribution center. You will supervise receiving, inspection, and storage, coordinating with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely material flow and accurate inventory control.

You will lead a team of warehouse staff, operate forklifts, RF scanners, and WMS/IMS systems, and drive lean process improvements while maintaining OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse distribution or logistics in fast-paced environments.
• Proven leadership in warehouse supervisor roles.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Proficiency with WMS/IMS and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound activities including shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate material handling.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate safe and efficient movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff involved in inbound operations, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous development.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate on distribution center operations to streamline shipping & receiving activities while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Support the implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) for enhanced tracking and reporting capabilities.
