Job summary

Lewis Bakeries is seeking a Supply Chain Inbound Manager to lead the receiving team and ensure accurate, timely, and food-safe intake of inbound materials in Murfreesboro, TN. You will own ERP transactions, drive inventory accuracy, and collaborate with Purchasing, QA, and Production to protect continuity.

You will supervise the receiving staff, enforce SOPs, and advance process improvements while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards throughout inbound operations.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain management, business, operations, logistics, or related field.
• : 5+ years of progressive receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• : Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience leading an hourly workforce.
• : Hands-on ERP experience in receiving and inventory, including PO receipts, lot control, unit conversions, and cycle counting.
• : Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP prerequisites, and food safety requirements in receiving/warehousing.
• : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory and performance reporting.
• : Experience in bakery/food manufacturing and QA audits preferred.
• : APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM/CSCP/CLTD) or HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all inbound receiving activity across assigned shifts, including dock scheduling and unloading priorities.
• Verify inbound shipments against PO, bill of lading, and packing list before acceptance.
• Enforce same-day receipt standard to ensure materials are transacted and released before inventory entry.
• Coordinate put-away and warehouse location to support FIFO/FEFO and efficient flow.
• Lead ERP-based receiving and inventory processes, ensuring three-way matching and audit readiness.
• Maintain perpetual inventory accuracy and lead cycle counts with root-cause analysis.
• Lead physical inventory events for raw materials and packaging with reconciliation and variance reporting.
• Maintain ERP master data and generate receiving performance metrics.
• Support ERP upgrades and SOP documentation for receiving, warehousing, and inventory.
