Job summary

Target in the United States is hiring an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations, keep shelves stocked, and ensure a guest-first shopping experience on the floor.

You will sort, stock, and organize merchandise, operate handheld scanners, and assist with back-up cashier duties while upholding safety policies. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is common for this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and a guest-first culture.
• Experience in retail fundamentals including sales trends and inventory management.
• Ability to support daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies, training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive Up.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs.
• Thank guests and show appreciation for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs
