Job summary

selfpublishing.com is hiring a Sales Development Representative to call warm leads, learn their story, and book strategy calls with Publishing Strategists. The role emphasizes meeting sales quotas and earning uncapped commissions while working from our Westlake office.

You must be able to thrive on the phone, communicate effectively, and maintain daily CRM updates. This is a full-time in-person position in the Austin area with coaching and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a sales role with a number attached to it (quota, leaderboard, commission)
• Live in the Austin area, or move here before your start date
• Work in person, full time, at our Westlake office
• Comfortable on the phone all day and great with people

Responsibilities

• Call warm leads who opted in to trainings and books
• Have real conversations: what they want to write, why it matters, what has been stopping them
• Book qualified strategy calls for our Publishing Strategists
• Track every call in CRM and get coaching through reviews
• Earn a spot at live events and book appointments in person
