Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative (ISDR) to join our Sales & Marketing team in Schaumburg, IL. You will be the first point of contact for prospects interested in payroll and HR solutions, qualifying inbound leads and guiding them toward Paylocity’s offerings.

This 100% in-office role requires five days per week on-site, with responsibilities including responding to inquiries, using a consultative approach, and maintaining CRM records to support effective handoffs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in payroll, HR, sales, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage and qualify inbound leads to maximize conversion rates using a consultative approach.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and coordinate with sales teams for seamless handoffs.
