CDW group in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload inbound shipments and perform quality control using RF scanners. You will sort, count, and verify items against packing slips, sign for freight, and ensure accurate receiving across carriers.

The role includes packaging, labeling, and potential cross-training in other warehouse functions. The position requires forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to stand 8+ hours and move repeatedly.
• Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate counting.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and peers.
• Ability to interact with a diverse group of coworkers.
• Ability to work in a warehouse with temperature changes and noise.
• General knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word).
• Forklift certification and/or experience in warehouse receiving.

Responsabilidades

• Unloading trucks manually or with pallet jack or forklift (certified).
• Sorting and receiving product by PO, mail, returns, and supplies.
• Counting products and comparing to vendor packing slips.
• Signing off for freight from carriers.
• Quality control using RF scanners/IDS for inbound merchandise.
• Labeling and packaging items as required.
• Communicating with receiving to resolve PO discrepancies.
• Cube items properly and bundle pieces when needed.
• May assist stocking and restocking to designated areas.
• Assist receiving with matching office paperwork.
• Rotate through receiving and other warehouse functions for training.
• Housekeeping duties to keep area clean.
