Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience / basic knowledge of Shipping & Receiving.
• Ability to work independently, be organized, and detail oriented.
• Professional communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with an eye for abnormalities.

Responsibilities

• Receive all material, verify count with PO and paperwork and process in Warehouse App in a timely manner.
• Perform inspections on raw incoming steel using a micrometer and tape measure to validate the material.
• Validate SubCon materials are stamped correctly and quantities match WO and/or PO before shipping material out and receiving materials back in.
• Ensure items are moved to correct storage locations matching the physical and systematic movements and are tagged appropriately.
• Safely operate forklift daily for loading and unloading raw material and orders.
• Maintain open communication with the Shipping & Receiving Manager and the Pick/Pack Supervisor to ensure orders are ready and shipping on-time and complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
