Responsibilities

• Reviews trends indicating gaps in inbound or outbound functions and recommends improvements.
• Participates with distribution center management to develop internal analyses and gap identification.
• Conducts daily status meetings to review performance and plan actions.
• Leads development and communication of Productivity Improvement Plans for identified areas.
• Observes processes to identify change opportunities and develops action plans for gaps.
• Leads inbound/outbound teams in goals and measurements.
• Reviews inbound/outbound area goals and sets performance targets.
• Monitors monthly department budget and assists in budget development.
• Conducts weekly staffing reviews with Operations Manager and HR to determine staffing levels.
• Communicates with carriers regarding store loads and backhauls.
