Motion is hiring an Inbound Operations Manager to lead inbound activities at the Sacramento, CA distribution center. The role reports to senior operations leadership and focuses on implementing strategies to improve efficiency and compliance across receiving, docking, stocking, and housekeeping.

You will train staff, manage performance, and resolve escalations while partnering with suppliers and customers to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year’s managerial experience leading teams.
• Lean six sigma and project management skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior management to implement operational strategies for efficiency.
• Manages inbound operations, including receiving, stocking, and safety compliance.
• Trains and develops employees; handles escalations and customer inquiries when needed.
• Works cross-functionally to monitor and resolve receiving errors and protect assets.
