Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Printing/Mailing Warehouse Operator in the Manufacturing department. The role involves shipping/receiving Express packages, preparing finished goods for shipment, and ensuring timely routing to destinations.

Candidates should be able to operate tow-motors, pallet jacks, and maintain accuracy in counts and records. Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, packaging to prevent damage, and supporting safety and process-improvement

Qualifications

• Must be 20+ years old
• Good driving record and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to read, write and perform basic math
• Able to lift up to 70+ pounds repetitively
• Able to operate towed equipment and manual jacks
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and work with others

Responsibilities

• Operate warehousing equipment safely and efficiently (tow-motors, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Record accurate counts for received and shipped materials
• Ship confidential/time-sensitive material to internal and external locations
• Package materials to prevent damage during transport
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment
• Participate in safety and process-improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
