Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a warehouse associate in Lakeland, FL. Responsibilities include operating, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory and paperwork are completed.

You will assist with loading, unloading, and palletizing while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role requires physical ability to lift heavy loads, a willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule, and basic math and GMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license after training.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more frequently.
• Ability to pull 180-200 pounds across a slick surface.
• Ability to bend, reach, pull, carry, and lift continuously.
• Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks and duties as assigned.
• Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended amount of time.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to demonstrate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Team player with positive work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating, maintaining and cleaning equipment in work area.
• Recording accurate inventory and completing required paperwork.
• Selecting product to be loaded.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Operating palletizer and tow motor.
• Performing all team assignments.
• Maintaining housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
