Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Distribution/Transportation professional to monitor inbound loads and communicate proactive updates to prevent missed due dates. You will coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and plants to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations.

The role requires strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills, the ability to work weekends, and the capacity to handle fast-paced environments within Publix facilities in Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of experience in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.

• Pass clerical & Microsoft skills tests before start date.

• Monitor delays at shipping/receiving to minimize cost and ensure carrier compensation.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
