Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Livonia, MI, is seeking a Transportation & Logistics Leader to manage inbound transportation and small parcel operations, drive cost savings, and monitor KPIs across the network.

You will negotiate rates with third-party providers, coordinate with logistics and manufacturing teams, ensure compliance, and mentor suppliers and internal staff while traveling 2–5 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or transportation field or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, and/or supply chain
• Progressive experience in transportation operations
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel domestically (2–5 weeks yearly)
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple ERPs and transportation systems/platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound transportation and small parcel operations
• Negotiate rates and service commitments with third-party providers
• Develop, monitor, and improve KPIs and cost-saving initiatives
• Coordinate with logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
• Mentor suppliers and Cabinetworks teammates
• Ensure compliance with carrier contracts and company policies
