Job summary

IdeaTek is seeking an inbound residential sales representative to engage customers by phone, understand needs, and recommend Internet solutions. You’ll handle inquiries, explain services, and guide prospects toward installation, while contributing to retention with follow-up touches.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales, call center, or customer service.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to learn and clearly communicate product, service, and process information.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for inbound residential sales inquiries.
• Listen to customer needs, recommend IdeaTek services, and close sales.
• Explain pricing, promotions, and next steps clearly to customers.
• Navigate objections and upsell relevant services when appropriate.
• Support retention conversations and document interactions accurately.
• Maintain current knowledge of IdeaTek offerings and promotions.
