Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in Albany, NY. This role safely transports freight on and off trailers and verifies related documentation. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous forklift or material handling equipment experience, preferred.
• Prior warehousing, freight, and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers for safe transport.
• Use document management system to track shipment locations.
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including day/night shifts and weekends/holidays.
• Operate with a customer service mindset.
