Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Full-Time Dockworker-Inbound to support loading and unloading freight, verify shipments, and ensure safe dock operations in compliance with DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must undergo ten-year work history check with explanations for gaps.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand or with hand truck; comply with DOT requirements.
• Read shipping labels and loading instructions; ensure items are secured on trucks or on dock.
• Operate material handling tools such as carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors safely.
• Maintain safe, professional conduct and comply with all regulations and paperwork.
