Inbound Contacts Representative - Remote

The Inbound Contacts Representative handles incoming inquiries via phone, digital, or written communication. The role involves varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks, including computations. Typically, work involves semi-routine assignments.

This is a Work from Home position

Essential Functions
  1. Ensure accurate and timely processing of requests, including scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls.
  2. Resolve patient issues through independent problem-solving with a goal of first call resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Active listening skills with high empathy.
  • Ability to stay calm and helpful when dealing with upset patients.
  • Patient-centric mindset and high sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of basic help desk software, Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • At least one year of experience in an inbound customer service call center.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle high call volume and multitask while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems like E-Clinical Works, Epic, AthenaHealth, NextGen.
  • Experience with virtual contact center solutions such as 8x8, Genesys, Ring Central, Five9.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
