Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Research Services Technologist to provide hands-on in vivo support for laboratory models and collaborate with veterinary staff and researchers.

You will manage breeding colonies, assist with sample collection and procedures, and ensure accurate documentation and billing for studies. Requires ALAT certification within 18 months and 4+ years of relevant lab experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor degree preferred in lab science areas.
• 4+ years of professional lab models care experience; or 2+ years with an associate or bachelor degree.
• ALAT certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Prior experience with software tools to maintain documentation/records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on in vivo support for research involving lab models.
• Care for and manage breeding colonies; assist with sample collection and study procedures.
• Perform procedures such as PK/PD studies, surgeries, euthanasia, and necropsy as trained.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and billing records; communicate findings promptly.
