Job summary

Alloy Therapeutics in Waltham, MA is offering a paid internship with the In Vitro Pharmacology team, focusing on running validated assay systems for testing therapeutic biologics, including antibodies and cell therapies, using high‑throughput methods. As a co‑op trainee, you will maintain cell lines, assist with reagents, generate data, and support daily lab workflows while collaborating with scientists to advance preclinical programmes.

Candidates are pursuing Immunology or related fields.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with mammalian cell culture in a BSL2+ setting.
• Experience with flow cytometry and basic molecular biology techniques preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Detail oriented with strong scientific thinking and a passion for drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day lab and experimental workflows, including cell line inventory maintenance.
• Execute cell‑based functional assays using high‑throughput approaches in primary cells, immortalized reporter cell lines, and other disease‑relevant cellular systems.
• Present experimental data and findings during team meetings.
• Ensure timely and successful execution of project activities according to plan.
• Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records in compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain laboratory organization and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related field
