Job summary

Ampersand Biomedicines is seeking a motivated co-op to join our in vivo team in Boston. You will contribute to in vivo and ex vivo studies involving antibodies and related biological molecules as part of next‑generation biologics development.

You will design and conduct molecular biology and in vivo/ex vivo experiments to investigate PK/PD and efficacy, work independently and with a team, and gain exposure to antibody production platforms and industrial drug development processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, pharmacology, or related field.
• Experience with animal handling and dosing by multiple routes (IV, IP, PO, IM).
• Experience in blood collection, anesthesia, surgical procedures, dissections, and tissue collection is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute experiments; analyze data and interpret results.
• Assist in surgical procedures and organ collection.
• Support ex vivo studies to characterize antibody efficacy after in vivo work.
• Conduct molecular biology assays (RNA/protein prep, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, Western blot).
• Maintain accurate records and present data in meetings.
