Job summary

Keros Therapeutics is seeking a motivated co-op in our Research group for a 6-month program. The role focuses on in vivo and ex vivo work, RNA isolation, qPCR, and protein analysis to support discovery of rare-disease therapies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a science-related bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Open to learning rodent handling and dosing techniques.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and independently with supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Curiosity and integrity for scientific problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo techniques and ex vivo research bench techniques and/or experiments.
• RNA isolation and expression analysis by qPCR.
• Conduct in vitro assays to confirm expression and activity of proteins (Western Blot, ELISA).
• Maintain clear records and summarize results in study reports.
• Provide updates at team meetings and contribute to experiments.
