Job summary

Vertex is offering a 6-month co-op focused on analytical development within its Biopharma CGT Device COE. The program emphasizes non-destructive techniques, advanced spectroscopy, and AI-assisted workflows to support autoinjectors and cell therapy products.

The role includes hands-on analysis and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team in a GMP environment. The co-op is based in Boston/Providence and runs January–July 2027, with a deadline of November 15, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an advanced degree program and available Jan–Jul 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be available for full-time (40 hours/week) during January–July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop at least one novel analytical method for combination devices.
• Contribute to SOPs and best practices for the Device COE.
• Prototype AI-assisted analytical workflows and document results.
