RadNet is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to support MRI safety and patient care within a clinical environment. You will assist MRI technologists and radiologists, manage patient histories, and help with coil setup, scheduling, and clean-up of the MRI suite.

We value strong interpersonal skills, professional conduct, and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required or eligible.
• Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
• Support technologists with procedures as needed; includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will

Role

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• At least one year experience in medical setting
• Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, public relations and verbal and written communication
• Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table
