This on-site role combines tax expertise, community engagement, and client service to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax Retail Expert, you will advise customers, prepare simple to complex tax returns, and build local relationships while leveraging Intuit’s marketing and product resources to

Qualifications

• Must hold an active EA, CPA, or attorney license; PTIN required.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours per week; weekends included.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.
• Willingness to build a local and online TurboTax presence; ability to create tax tips and educational content.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation for TurboTax customers (personal and business).
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future tax returns.
• Deliver clear, personalized tax solutions using government sites, professional tools, and team support.
