Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will deliver full‑service tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to in‑person customers, while growing TurboTax’s client base in local communities.

Ideal candidates hold active EA/CPA/attorney licenses, have at least 3 years of tax filing experience, and can work onsite a minimum of 20 hours per week. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, nurture leads, and drive local marketing.
• Provide Tax Expertise: hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: maintain professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals, build trust for multi‑year relationships.
• Interact with customers in person and via Intuit’s video tools; address client inquiries and tax challenges.
