Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join as TurboTax Retail Experts at on-site locations across the United States. You will prepare tax returns, provide tax advice, and support customers in-person with TurboTax products.

This role emphasizes community outreach, client growth, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. Qualified candidates hold active tax licenses (EA/CPA/attorney), PTIN, and at least 3 years of prior tax return experience using professional software.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must have PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses/certificates/permits/bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite work at TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willingness to build local/community presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the proactive face of TurboTax in the local community, feeding leads and converting prospects into clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and help clients reach financial goals, including future tax planning.
