Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Massachusetts is seeking an In-Store Shopper to prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. You will work with the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, shopping throughout the store for items and supporting peak hours including weekends.

Flexible scheduling and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays are required. Training on handheld devices and store procedures will be provided to ensure accurate orders and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Stand/walk for 4-8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders accurately using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure order accuracy through verification and quality control processes.
• Learn product knowledge and customer service standards to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and store information.
