Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to fulfill online orders in-store, engage customers with friendly service, and ensure fresh, high-quality products are available. You will use the Instacart Shopper App to pick orders and process transactions at the POS, contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused shopping experience.

Applicants should be at least 21 with a high school diploma, strong communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude toward customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Standing, walking, bending throughout the workday; maneuvering a cart up to 20 lbs. for up to 2 hours.

Responsibilities

• Shop in-store to fulfill customer online orders using a mobile device and Instacart Shopper App.
• Provide excellent customer service focusing on product quality and freshness; substitute out-of-stock items as needed.
• Communicate any order changes clearly and accurately.
• Process transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Serve as an online ambassador, answering questions about orders, the Instacart platform, and service benefits.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.
