Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking In-Store Shopper to support and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. You’ll shop across the store for groceries and beverages, including produce, meat, dairy, and prepared foods, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

Shifts include weekends and peak hours, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork. The role requires learning product knowledge, using handheld devices, and maintaining a clean, organized staging area while complying with store

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
