Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, insight into management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences. You will gain insight into a career in outside sales by traveling with a Sales Representative and spending structured time with your management team.

Interns complete a project addressing real business issues, collaborate with peers, and receive leadership support

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Assist customers and support sales efforts to meet goals.
• Develop product knowledge to answer questions and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support visual merchandising efforts.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms for efficient flow.
• Participate in required training sessions and follow store policies.
