Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. Annual compensation combines an hourly base ($20–$22) with uncapped commission and strong earning potential ($25–$35/hour) for top performers.

Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available in University, NC. Responsibilities include engaging customers, educating them on services, generating qualified

Qualifications

• Outgoing individuals who enjoy talking to customers.
• Retail or sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for shifts and maintain a professional appearance.
• Weekend and some holiday availability.
• Reliable transportation and attendance at weekly in-office meetings.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
• Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
