Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Wickliffe, OH is seeking an In-Store Sales Associate to deliver customer service at the counter, process orders, assist with warehouse duties, and support the Outside Sales team as needed.

You will evaluate products, demonstrate items, maintain accurate records, perform outbound calls to customers, and help achieve margin targets through add-on sales of gases and accessories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• No DUI/DWI or alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service activities, including taking orders and answering questions.
• Serve customers through counter sales in the store.
• Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
• Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate products and programs.
• Promote add-on sales of gases and hard goods accessories; conduct product demonstrations.
• Maintain customer records and pricing, and perform outbound calls.
