Job summary

Crossmark Inc. in Farmington, CT is seeking a part-time Associate to support in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will acquire product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down demonstrations while engaging customers in a professional manner.

The role emphasizes a neat appearance, ability to handle small appliances, and effective communication of product benefits. This position is limited to about 25 hours per week, with potential adjustments per client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device and internal systems.
• Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Stand and walk for shifts; lift up to 25 pounds; manage equipment for demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station with cleaning chemicals.
• Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet objectives.
• Completes expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Submit all online requirements on the day of Event execution.
