Job summary

JustFoodForDogs, LLC in Walnut Creek is seeking a Full-Time Lead Nutrition Sales Consultant to engage with customers and their dogs in-store, providing nutrition guidance and promoting JFFD meals, treats, and supplements. This role requires strong customer service and a passion for pet health.

You will lead a team of Consultants, train staff, manage merchandising and POS, and ensure company policies are followed while building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Retail or consultative sales experience in a pet or retail setting.
• Leadership or coaching experience with teams.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD
• Establish and maintain customer relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers
• Lead by example, train and coach the Consultant team to execute all duties to standards.
• Lead merchandising, housekeeping, stock management and POS duties at the front end
• Ensure all JFFD policies and procedures, including safety and POS, are followed
• Communicate insights to manager to help store achieve targets
