Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Bee Cave, TX is seeking an Event Coordination and Customer Experience associate to plan and run kids' parties and in-store events. You will engage customers, help shoppers find products, and ensure fast, friendly checkout experiences while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards; set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
