Michaels in West Lebanon, NH is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run children’s parties and store events. You will engage guests, teach crafts, manage add-ons, and ensure smooth operations from setup to teardown.

You’ll also handle checkout support, customer assistance, and store processes while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, excellent people skills, and the ability to work with customers of all ages.

Mansioni

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
• Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Engage customers on rewards and credit programs and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
• Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image and teamwork.
